Nothing is worst than awakening after a dream, than becoming sober again after being drunk, than being faced by reality after having grown up. I think I have always been a dreamer. And I remember there was a time now almost lost when world was a magic and frightening place, full of secrets, adventure, beauty and fear. A place where night and dreams were scarcely distinguished from dawn and every morning was the prelude of countless discoveries. So photography, to me, is more frequently a means to create images that evocate certain oneiric memories and fantasies rather than a way to capture the external world. It is a game, a pleasure, an experiment; an attempt to show dreams or visions or nightmares, created from directly photographed scenes but without being constrained by any limits during the production of the final picture.
