Exhibitor History

Grace Yanhong
Montreal, QC Canada
I played with a small point and shoot camera before I took a few lessons in 2009 with some established Canadian photographers such as Adrien Duey, Valerie Simmons and Michel Pilon. Intensely introverted yet curious, I am fascinated by people's faces. I started to focus on making portraits. Soon enough I found out that I have to be able to expose myself first before I could get my subjects to be open in front of the camera, to become who they are in a moment of truth, which in my eyes, the purest form of beauty. It has been an intense, sometimes uncomfortable and even emotional experience for me. I didn’t simply just want to be a photographer, my desire lies rather in capturing the unique spirit of each person, finding a moment of true connection, connection to our truest selves, connection to something deeper inside each subject. - May 19, 2012

Upcoming Exhibits

After 99 Exhibitions we're taking a break.

Over the next month or two we are planning to do some work on our web site and better organize and advertise our inventory of fabulous prints we have been collecting. We also want to host a few more workshops and photographer community events.

Once we regroup, for our 100th exhibit, we are planning to host our 4th Champlain Valley Photo Slam Probably in November/December.

We really appreciate all the support we have received over the last seven years and queries from eager photographers about future exhibitions.

Stay tuned!
