Opening Reception for Beautiful Things Exhibit

The Vermont Photo Space Gallery is dedicated to photographers and photography. We host juried exhibits providing opportunities for photographers to have their work evaluated by a qualified juror for display in our Vermont gallery with minimum expense or hassle.  We provide free matting and framing of accepted entries for the duration of each of our exhibition, subject to standard sizes. Photographers set their own prices if they wish to sell their work and retain all rights to their photographs. This makes it very easy and inexpensive to get your work on display.

We also host educational seminars and workshops.

The gallery is a freshly renovated airy 1300 sq ft first floor store front air conditioned space with hardwood floors and an 11' ceiling. Nearly every image has a dedicated flood light light and hangs from a fully adjustable hanging system. The Vermont Photo Space Gallery is located at the "Five Corners" right next to Martone's Market and Café. The Village of Essex Jct. is located within 10 miles of The University of Vermont and three other Colleges, Downtown Burlington and Burlington International Airport.

VermontPhotoSpace.com provides a mechanism by which photographers submit their work for monthly exhibits at the Vermont Photo Space Gallery and allows jurors to review and select the images to be included in the exhibit. Jurors are established photographers, have produced a body of work in that theme and have received recognition as top professionals. Selections are made by the juror anonymously,  based on the quality of the submissions. More on the selection process.

The Vermont Photo Space Gallery is our showcase for exhibitions of juror selected photographic images produced by contemporary photographers. Each exhibit expresses a single theme and is displayed at the Vermont Photo Space Gallery in Essex Junction, Vermont. We host an opening reception for each exhibit where photographers can meet the public and talk with them about their work.

We also host seminars and workshops for photographers in conjunction with the Art in Photography Meetup group and any other interested group that applies. To date we have hosted three events and hope to host many more in the future.  If your photography organization or group needs a place to host an event let us know.
